LESSON 7 COFFEE GRINDER OPERATION
Introduction
In the brewing process of coffee, the biggest factor affecting the flavor of coffee is the grinding degree of coffee beans. How much flavor is extracted from coffee beans depends on the area in contact with water. If you choose the right grind, you will get a cup of delicious, sweet and balanced coffee.
Before brewing coffee, we all need to grind the coffee beans into small particles to make it easier to release the charming flavor and aroma of the coffee. Therefore, it is very important to have a good grinder. So, what criterion should we use to measure the grinding degree of coffee beans?

Summary
The rougher the degree of grinding, the longer the extraction time will be. Conversely, the finer the grinding degree, the shorter the brewing time will be. Generally speaking, coarsely ground coffee granules are usually brewed for 4-8 minutes; for finer ones, it only takes 1-4 minutes. Only by grasping the balance point can the coffee flavor be extracted to the maximum.
